IJKA UK would like to thank everyone who attended the Takato Utsumi UK Seminar in Worcester, England at the weekend.
Attendees were from IJKA UK, Ireland and Italy along with several karateka from other UK associations.
Takato Sensei gave a fantastic seminar at the Worcester University Sports Arena, which is a fantastic venue.
Takato Sensei was very impressed with Worcester and everything that was arranged.
The seminar was a fantastic success with a great social event held on the Saturday evening at the Diglis Hotel, Worcester, which is adjacent to the river Severn.
Takato Sensei held a grading on Sunday afternoon and the following karateka achieved the grades below:
Joe Hunter – Ireland – 6th Dan
Steve Cameron – England – 5th Dan
Vincent Clarke – Ireland – 5th Dan
Shane Hurley – Ireland – 4th Dan
At Birmingham Airport on Monday afternoon Takato Sensei asked me to pass his thanks to everyone who attended.
IJKA looks forward to Takato Sensei visiting the UK again.
