How we handle your personal information
IJKA UK will not store your personal information on the website server or internet.
Information will never be shared with a third party.
Information will only be used for records of members of IJKA UK and for issuing of licenses.
By completing and submitting the membership registration form you are consenting that you have read and agree with how IJKA UK handle your personal information.
By completing and submitting the membership registration form and providing your mobile number, you are giving permission / consent to IJKA UK to include you in the IJKA UK WhatsApp group. This WhatsApp group keeps all IJKA UK members up to date with what’s happening within the Association and IJKA International etc.
If you do not wish to be part of the IJKA UK WhatsApp group, please leave the optional mobile phone number field blank.

1. New members
   The new member must complete and submit the on-line membership registration form so that IJKA UK has a record of your personal details and any previous Shotokan grade awarded by another association (if applicable). In the case of new members under the age of 18, the parent of the new member must complete and submit the on-line membership registration form.
   You will be contacted in due course, regarding payment of IJKA UK’s annual membership fee and issuing of your license.
2. Existing IJKA license holders

   IJKA UK Dojo member ~ If your existing IJKA licence was issued in or after 2021,  to ensure IJKA UK has a record of your personal details and existing grade please complete and submit the on-line membership registration form.
   It is now the responsibility of the Dojo Sensei to:
   2.1 Collect your annual membership fee.
   2.2 Pay the membership fee to IJKA UK and inform IJKA UK of a new member holding an existing IJKA licence.
   2.3 Update your licence with the current annual year stamp.
   Please refer to your Sensei for payment and subsequent updating of your licence.

   IJKA UK Independent member ~ If any of the following statements apply, IJKA UK will not have a record of your personal details:
   2.4 You are not a member of any IJKA UK dojo.
   2.5 Your existing IJKA licence was issued before 2021.
   2.6 You hold an existing IJKA licence and are joining IJKA UK for the first time.
   Therefore, to ensure IJKA UK has a record of your personal details and existing grade please complete and submit the on-line membership registration form.
   You will be contacted in due course, regarding payment of IJKA UK’s annual membership fee and updating your license.
